Ottilie Bardsley is a 23 year old International Dressage rider, based in Cheshire, Great Britain. She is pursuing her passion in Dressage after taking a number of years out due to an accident.
Alongside this, she was awarded a 1st in a BA(Hons) Architectural Interior Design degree at Inchbald School of Design, London, as well as modelling for equestrian brands with her horses. Her dream is to balance both these with getting out competing with her team of horses.
Ottilie is a 23 year old British Dressage rider based at Pinfold Stables, Cheshire, with international dressage riders Sarah Higgins and Sarah Rao, and Olympic eventer Alex Hua Tian.
Ottilie’s Dressage career started in ponies being selected for many internationals on her two ponies Dublin and Kingsley Ciske, with highlights being a 1st at Keysoe CDI, 2016, Advanced Medium Area Champions, and being selected for Pony European Championships, which they unfortunately couldn’t take part in due to injury.
Ottilie then moved on to Juniors with her horse Darina O. They competed at Lier CDI and Saumur CDI, finishing 2nd with the team in the nations cup. They were shortlisted for the 2017 Junior Europeans, but Ottilie decided to pull out of the race to concentrate on her A levels. After a bad fall off of a young horse in 2017, Ottilie had to take a number of years out due to injury.
Now Ottilie is fully healed, she is throwing herself back into the sport and now has a strong string of horses. Back out competing internationally at small tour, highlights include top 3 placings at CDI Le Mans in PSG, Inter 1 and Inter 1 Freestyle.
Ottilie’s next aim with her horses is to compete in U25s.
